Anchors Away Boatyard is located at day marker 90 on the ICW -- at approximately ICW mile marker 264. From the north, we are about  three miles south of the Surf City swing bridge. From the south, we are located approximately 20 miles north of the City of Wilmington.

If you are traveling by land, Anchors Away is accessible from US Route 17 - the main north-south highway along the coast in North Carolina. We are also accessible via I-40.

From Wilmington, NC (South)
Travel North on US 17 approximately 21 miles to NC Hwy 1563 [Sloop Point Loop Road] and turn right. (Look for the BP Service Station on your right.) Follow Sloop Point Loop about three miles and turn right on Lewis Road. There is a big white wooden boat sitting in the grass at this corner. Anchors Away is about one-half mile down on your left. Our address is 585 Lewis Road, Hampstead, NC. Just look for the sign. 

From Jacksonville, NC (North)
Travel South on US 17 past NC 210 to Sloop Point Loop Road. (Look for BP Service Station on left.) Turn left onto Sloop Point loop road, and follow it about three miles to Lewis Road.  Turn right onto Lewis Road.  There is a big white wooden boat sitting in the grass at this corner. Anchors Away is about one-half mile down on your left. Our address is 585 Lewis Road, Hampstead, NC. Just look for the sign.
