For most boats, storage at Anchors Away is only $250 per month.  Boats on trailers are even less.

We are currently taking reservations for a limited number of trailer boat storage spaces we plan to make available when the new County boat ramps are completed next door. We expect the new ramps to offer convenient boating to people from Porters Neck, Hampstead, Topsail and Surf City.

Many consider Anchors Away an excellent marina alternative for longer term boat storage. First, our storage rates are generally more favorable than marinas.  Second, because your boat is safe from wind and tide, insurance can be less expensive than storage in marinas.  Often, travelers along the ICW will use Anchors Away as a place to leave their boat on the hard for a few months while they explore the rest of North Carolina, or travel home to visit friends and family.

Whether you need to be out of the water a day or a year, we can accommodate your boat storage needs. Our 68-Ton Travel Lift, together with our forklift and boom crane, can safely remove even the largest of craft from the water and transport it to our 5-acre storage area.
